Comedy Roast City Battle

Comedy roast battles are enjoying massive international hype - especially since the Netflix roasts of Kevin Hart and Tom Brady racked up millions of views and broke audience records. In these battles, comedians and public figures step into the ring for a verbal showdown, aiming to trade "compliments" that are as politically incorrect as possible.

While still something of an insider tip in Germany, smaller roast battles take place weekly around the globe, these are tracked within a worldwide "Roast Battle League" that culminates in a grand annual final at "The Mothership" in Austin, Texas - arguably one of the most prestigious stand-up comedy clubs in the world right now.

Hazel Brugger and Thomas Spitzer have long been huge fans of comedy roast battles (they can be seen in the audience of Jeff Ross and Dave Attell’s „Bumping Mics“ on Netflix and have even had Nikki Glaser on their podcast). Now, they are organizing an international "City Battle" between European cities at Frankfurt’s Käs - for the second time!

PLEASE NOTE: The event will be recorded, and seating is strictly limited. The entire show will be in English.
