Koki Nakano

Koki Nakano is one of the most prominent composers thanks to his unique ability to explore uncharted territories both in the modernclassical and electronic music scenes. He is an avant gardist pianist navigating evolving surrended by many renowned tastemakers in themusic, cinema (Naomi Kawase), fashion (ISSEY MIYAKE), dance (choreographer Damien Jalet, Tess Voelker) and contemporary Art(Kohei Nawa) fields. Music has always been his way of finding balance in the world. It’s this very physical experience of music, one whichacknowledges the bodily tensions of movement and gravity, that makes his sound so unique. It also explains why dance is such a big partof his work. For his new tour, he brings Alter Day to life in concert, a deeply personal project centered on the fragile, shifting nature of cherishedmemories. Koki Nakano sculpts an organic soundscape live, weaving pure melody with subtle ambient textures, minimalism, andunderstated electronic nuances. A rare, immersive live experience driven by the pianist's effortless fluid motion, expressive mastery, anddeeply romantic spirit.
