Desire

Dream pop for the broken-hearted, Desire have become one of the most captivating names in contemporary electronic music. Formed in Montreal and now based in Los Angeles, the duo blend shimmering synths, cinematic atmospheres, and irresistible melodies into a sound that is both nostalgic and timeless.

Fronted by the evocative vocals of Megan Louise and driven by the visionary production of Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy), Desire’s live performances move effortlessly between English and French, drawing audiences into a world of romance, longing, and late-night beauty.

As the flagship act of the influential Italians Do It Better label, Desire have earned international acclaim for their distinctive sound. Their music has accompanied runway shows for Versace, Fendi, Dior, Chanel, and Bottega Veneta, while Johnny Jewel’s work has featured in projects associated with Nicolas Winding Refn, David Lynch, and Ryan Gosling.

The duo gained worldwide recognition with their breakthrough anthem “Under Your Spell,” memorably featured in Refn’s cult classic Drive. Since then, they have continued to create lush, emotionally charged music that bridges dream pop, synth-pop, and cinematic electronica.
